Premier League – Reece James scores as Chelsea draw 2-2 with Bournemouth

The 21st round of the 2024/25 Premier League staged another focus battle. The "Blue Lions" Chelsea, based at Stamford Bridge, drew 2-2 with the "Cherries" Bournemouth after goals from Palmer and Reece James.

Two minutes into the game, Chelsea launched an attack from the penalty area. Enzo stopped the ball in the melee, but the ball was caught by Bournemouth goalkeeper Travers and he lost the chance to shoot. In the 10th minute, Sancho in the penalty area faced the defense and passed the ball back. Palmer got the ball and shot it, but the ball went wide of the goal.

In the 13th minute, Jackson dribbled the ball and passed it to Palmer, who then shot from the penalty area, helping Chelsea to open the scoring with a 1-0 lead. In the 22nd minute, Bournemouth defender James Hill was injured and was replaced by Kluivert after he could no longer hold on. In the second half stoppage time, Chelsea got a free kick opportunity. Reece James took the penalty and scored directly, helping Chelsea to tie the score at 2-2.

In the end, Chelsea drew 2-2 with Bournemouth at home.
