In fact, it is not uncommon for Chinese players to be suspected of match-fixing in the Dota 2 professional competitive e-sports circle.
Due to lack of operating funds and poor management, many Chinese players often face the situation where the prize money they receive is not enough to support their expenses. As a result, more and more people will decide to take risks and accept the conditions of match-fixing for criminals such as illegal online gambling, underground banks, and gangs in order to increase their income in exchange for high rewards.
