Former Guangzhou TTG player Ye Kang (ID: Bu Ran) announced on Sunday that he would end his seven-year professional career in King of Glory. The statement is as follows:
"Hi everyone, I'm Bu Ran, I've been playing professionally for 7 years since 2018. I've experienced highs and lows. Thank you all for your support and companionship. I also thank every player and coach who has helped me. I'm grateful for the KPL stage that allowed me to shine.
What I have experienced in the past few years has made me grow a lot, and my spirit has been worn away little by little. Now I have decided to say goodbye to the arena and live a good life.
I wish you all a better future than the past, with tears in your eyes forever."
The 25-year-old Bu Ran plays as a jungler and officially entered the professional arena in 2018. He originally used "Jing Ru Ran" as his game ID, and changed his name to "Bu Ran" after he was promoted from the RW Xia youth training team to the first team through the draft in September 2020.
On February 21, 2021, Bu Ran officially joined Guangzhou TTG. During his time at TTG, he helped the team win the 2023 KPL Summer Championship with his FMVP-level performance, thus entering the peak of his career.
In January 2024, Bu Ran was traded by TTG to Changsha Top Esports King of Glory Division (Changsha TES.A). However, he failed to return to the top due to team running-in problems and became a substitute from the 2025 Spring Split. As the passion for the game faded, Bu Ran eventually chose to retire.
