"League of Legends" development team: will fix the blue essence and account experience acquisition mechanism issues

The development team of "League of Legends" recently issued an announcement, promising to fix the problems with blue essence and account experience benefits in subsequent versions.

In the latest announcement, the League of Legends development team stated that their original intention for the update was to simplify the game reward system by centralizing blue essence earnings, while improving the overall earnings experience for novice and casual players. The development team originally expected that the rate of obtaining blue essence should be the same as the old system or even slightly higher. However, the actual situation shows that the current mechanism has significant problems in terms of blue essence and account upgrades.

First, the rate of obtaining blue essence has dropped significantly. Due to the failure to fully consider the impact of the daily first victory reward, the blue essence obtained by players through tasks and milestones is not enough to make up for the loss of the traditional reward system. Secondly, the account upgrade speed has slowed down significantly, resulting in an increase of up to 30% in the number of games required to reach level 30 and unlock the ranking qualification.

In order to solve the above problems, the League of Legends development team plans to launch a series of repair measures in versions 25.S1.2 and 25.S1.3. Specifically, they include:

Improved Milestone Rewards: The total amount of Blue Essence earned from the Free Pass will be increased from 4,750 to 9,000, and the Blue Essence reward for repeatable quests will be increased from 50 to 750.

Compensation for existing players: As the first phase of the Battle Pass has already started, the development team will distribute 4250 Blue Essence to players through a one-time mission to make up for the lack of rewards in the current phase.

In addition, the team will upgrade the "Champion Glory Chest" to the "Glorious Champion Chest" in the second phase of the battle pass as a reward for players' long-term support.
