Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero has been out of action since October 30 due to a torn oblique muscle. It is reported that Paolo Banchero did not participate in the Orlando Magic's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Paolo Banchero has not played since he tore his oblique muscle in the fourth quarter of a game on October 30. At the end of December, Paolo Banchero entered the "return to play" rehabilitation phase and stated that the torn muscle had healed.
"I've been doing a lot of rehab to get my body back to match fitness," said Paolo Banchero. "After the injury I had, I had to rest for a while. So I had to get my body back to where it was before and I'm still in that phase."
During Paolo Banchero's 33-game absence, the Orlando Magic performed well, finishing with a 19-14 record and remaining in the Eastern Conference playoff race.
Head coach Jamal Mosley said: "Paulo Banchero has brought vitality to the team and confidence to the team in many aspects. As long as he is on the court, a lot of changes will happen in the space. We look forward to Paulo Banchero being able to reunite with the players as soon as possible."
