Doinb returns to the professional arena after two years, joining NIP as a free agent

NIP E-sports Club released an announcement confirming that former S9 champion mid laner Kim Tae-sang (ID: Doinb) has joined its League of Legends team as a free agent. This news marks Doinb's official return to the professional arena after 759 days since he left LNG in December 2022 and transformed into a full-time anchor.

Doinb, 28, is a Korean professional League of Legends player. He has played for teams such as QG, JDG, RW, FPX, LNG, and helped FPX win the 2019 LPL Summer Championship and the S9 World Championship.

In December 2022, Doinb parted ways with LNG. He then announced his break and transformed into a full-time anchor, during which he participated in entertainment events such as the Old Man Cup and the Commentary Cup.

According to official news, Doinb will form a new core lineup with top laner Shanji (Deng Zijian), jungler Aki (Mao An), bottom laner Leave (Hu Hongchao) and support ppgod (Guo Peng). His substitute player is former iG team mid laner Neny (Zhao Zhihao), and he will prepare for the first stage of LPL under the guidance of head coach Rashomon (Luo Bin).

Talking about the reason for joining NIP, Doinb said: "I actually talked with NIP for quite a long time. I kept talking to them before the start because I was a free agent. Then we talked from almost September to now, which was quite a long time. Then the reason why I chose to join NIP in the end was that I knew my teammates, and then I watched their Demacia Cup game, and I felt that I could help them if I joined, and they could make up for my shortcomings."

NIP warmly welcomed Doinb's joining and said in a statement: "The fierce Kled and strong Pantheon in the Intercontinental Championship, the cheers and excitement after winning, are your desire for victory and your sincerity to the LPL region;

The multiple crownings of the regular season MVP and the Silver Dragon Cup in the LPL League are a strong testament to your professionalism, personal level and team leadership ability.

And when you stand tall in Paris at the World Championship and shout "We are the champions," it is the best response to your unchanging original intention for this arena and the unremitting struggle of professional players for their dreams.

Putting aside the achievements is sedimentation, going to Shenzhen is a breakthrough, and reconnecting is courage. This is a new starting point for your personal career and also the determination of Shenzhen NIP to achieve higher goals with you.

The unyielding mecha has a steadfast resolve, the chivalrous spirit remains unchanged, the light of nirvana rebirth remains unforgettable, and the Kirin’s outstanding heart remains unchanged.
