Valve cancels Major Regional Qualifiers (MRQ) system for the Starladder Counter Strike Budapest Major..

Valve announced on its official website on Monday that it would cancel the Major Regional Qualifiers (MRQ) system for the Starladder Counter Strike Budapest Major.
According to Valve's official statement, one of the goals of the VRS ranking system is to "integrate community events with the Major event system." However, this time, deliberately setting up another qualifier in the already dense schedule and forcing teams to carefully choose which qualifier to participate in to qualify for the simultaneous events has obviously caused great trouble and inconvenience.
Therefore, in order to no longer add trouble, Valve decided to cancel the MRQ system for the Starladder Counter Strike Budapest Major. At the same time, all Fall events in 2025 will also cancel the MRQ system.
As an alternative, all 32 teams that have qualified for the Starladder Counter Strike Budapest Major will be invited based on the Valve Regional Standings (VRS).
Last week, Starladder announced on its official website that the MRQs for the Budapest Major will be held online in Europe, Asia and America from October 16 to 19.
However, this obviously conflicts with the Counter Strike Asia Championship (CAC), Thunderpick World Championship and MESA Nomadic Masters Fall, which has caused criticism from fans.
Assuming that the BLAST Austin Major Legends Group Stage will still affect the allocation of quotas for the Budapest Major, according to the VRS ranking simulation points (including decay, not considering the score), the 6 Asian direct invitations on October 8 are as follows:
1. The Mongolz (1815 points) directly invited to the second or third stage of the Budapest Major
2. TYLOO (1700 points) directly invited to the second or third stage of the Budapest Major
3. LVG (1664 points) directly invited to the first stage of the Budapest Major
4. FlyQuest (1361 points) directly invited to the first stage of the Budapest Major
5. JJH (1125 points) directly invited to the first stage of the Budapest Major
6. CW (1107 points) directly invited to the first stage of the Budapest Major
