Rising American organization Chicken Coop laid off its entire Counter Strike 2 roster, which was accused of threatening to sexually assault female netizens..

Rising American organization Chicken Coop, announced through its official X (Twitter) account on Wednesday that it has laid off its entire Counter-Strike 2 roster, which was accused of threatening to sexually assault female netizens.

According to Chicken Coop's official statement, the players' actions are inconsistent with the culture, values, and gender equality the organization promotes and strives to foster both on and off the arena. Furthermore, the allegations against one player are extremely serious, forcing the organization to make this decision unavoidably to defend its unwavering stance.

Chicken Coop would like to thank everyone for their support and understanding and pledge to do better to set a better example for the Counter Strike 2 professional esports community in North America and globally.

The Incident

On the evening of Tuesday, September 9th (local time in the United States), a female user named sleepysav posted on X that she witnessed three players from the Chicken Coop roster threatening to sexually assault her friend and even engaging in a physical altercation with her while she was trying to protect her friend.

The next day, sleepysav revealed that the three players initially made several disgusting, inappropriate jokes to him and his friend that sexualized women's breasts.

Later, one of the players, jchancE, took his disgusting behavior to the point of stalking and sexually harassing her friend.

When she could no longer bear it and tried to help her friend stop the three, jchancE brazenly threatened to sexually assault them and a physical altercation ensued between him and sleepysav.

Subsequently, the two called the police, but jchancE and his teammates insisted that they were "intoxicated" and that their actions were unintentional.

However, sleepysav and her victimized friend refused to accept their "apology", accusing the three players of nearly committing rape and refusing to compromise until jchancE and his teammates face strict legal punishments and lifetime bans.
