Charles Barkley wants James Harden and Norman Powell to be NBA All-Stars

Charles Barkley hopes the Los Angeles Clippers can have two players selected as NBA All-Stars.

The Los Angeles Clippers have been one of the surprises of the NBA this season. Despite playing without Kawhi Leonard for the first 34 games of the season, the two-time Finals MVP has only played in four games this season, with limited minutes in each game and not even appearing in the fourth quarter of any game. However, the Clippers are still in fifth place in the Western Conference with a record of 23-17.

Led by James Harden, Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac, the trio has continued to deliver star-level performances this season, providing the Clippers with strong competitiveness.

Despite a star-studded Western Conference, NBA legend Charles Barkley believes the Clippers deserve two All-Stars this season.
Barkley said: "Norman Powell, I hope you can be selected to the All-Star team, Norman, you deserve this honor, you have performed very well throughout the season."

In addition, Barkley also mentioned Harden: "I think the performance of James Harden and Norman Powell is enough to make them into the All-Star team."

Harden is one of only four players in the NBA this season to average at least 20 points, eight assists and five rebounds per game, along with Nikola Jokic, Cade Cunningham and LeBron James. Powell is one of only three players in the NBA this season to average at least 23 points and shoot more than 45% from three-point range, along with Jokic and Zach LaVine.
