Team Spirit sweeps MOUZ to win IEM Cologne 2025

Russian Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) powerhouse Team Spirit swept MOUZ 3-0 in the IEM Cologne 2025 finals, successfully winning the championship and a prize of up to $400,000.

With this victory, Team Spirit completed the most important triple crown in the history of CS2, namely IEM Cologne, IEM Katowice and Major championship.

This victory not only marks Team Spirit's second championship title of the year, but also marks a perfect debut for newly added rifler zweih, who replaced magixx in early July.

The 18-year-old superstar Donk once again dominated, earning the tournament MVP award with an average rating of 1.50 throughout. He also became one of the few legendary players to win MVP awards at three tournaments: Katowice, Cologne, and a Major.

This tournament was supposed to be the stage for Team Vitality to continue their winning streak, having already won seven consecutive titles. However, Team Spirit surged forward, dropping only two maps throughout the entire tournament, effectively ending Team Vitality's winning streak.

In the finals, Team Spirit won the first game on Mirage 13-2, then staged a stunning comeback in the second game on Ancient, winning 13-11. In the third game on Nuke, Team Spirit played steadily and secured the victory with a 13-6 score, completing a clean 3-0 sweep.

Donk played at full power in all three games, leading the team to suppress the opponent with 17, 26 and 19 kills respectively, and finally put a perfect end to the final with a rating of 1.64.

With this victory, Team Spirit not only wrote the most glorious page in the team's history, but also crowned a new king in the CS2 arena.
