Lynn Vision and Legacy were invited to FISSURE Playground 2

The large-scale "Counter-Strike 2" event FISSURE Playground 2 will be held in Belgrade, Serbia from September 12th to 21st, with a total prize pool of up to 1.25 million US dollars, of which the champion will receive 200,000 US dollars.

The tournament also provides Valve Rankings (VRS) points, which are crucial for qualifying for the StarLadder Budapest Major in November. Organizers recently announced the final batch of invited teams, with Lynn Vision from China and South American team Legacy making the cut.

It is worth mentioning that Legacy will make their FISSURE series debut, while Lynn Vision has been invited again after Playground 1. Joining them on the list are HEROIC and PaiN Gaming.

At this point, the lineups of 16 teams have been finalized, including: The MongolZ, Team Falcons, Aurora Gaming, FaZe Clan, FURIA, G2 Esports, GamerLegion, 3DMAX, Virtus.pro, Astralis, Team Liquid, TYLOO, Lynn Vision, HEROIC, Legacy, and PaiN Gaming.

All participating teams are ranked in the top 32 globally, with Legacy being the lowest-ranked invited team at 21st. The event clashes with StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025, forcing several teams to weigh their options.

As the Major approaches, FISSURE Playground 2 will become an important battlefield for teams to test their form and compete for points.
