Renato Vega said his goal is to live up to everyone's trust and expectations of him

Portuguese center-back Renato Vega expressed his gratitude to the club for its efforts in securing his arrival. He was recently unveiled at a press conference, officially becoming a new signing for Villarreal CF. He shared the joy of wearing the Villarreal jersey with club president Fernando Roig.  

The Portugal international highlighted his commitment to daily training, stating: "My motivation every day comes from giving my all and leaving the José Manuel Llanesa training ground with a clear conscience, knowing I have given my best.  

Renato Vega also reiterated his determination to repay the trust shown on the pitch. He said: "My first goal is to try to repay the trust shown in me. I already know Villarreal and it's a great club. They presented me with a great project and made it clear that they wanted me to join them."  

"I'm a left-footed player with versatility, fighting spirit, speed and leadership. I know I still have a lot to improve, including the experience that comes with age, but I believe I'm in my best form."
