The list of 16 directly invited teams for IEM Chengdu has been released, and the top four teams have confirmed their participation

ESL recently released an official announcement, officially confirming the 16 directly invited teams for the IEM Chengdu station.
IEM Chengdu is scheduled to be held from November 3rd to 9th, with a total prize pool of $1 million. According to the official announcement, the group stage will adopt a Bo3 double-elimination system to determine the six teams, and then a three-day knockout stage will begin on November 7th.
The official also confirmed that the top four teams have all accepted the invitation. Since GamerLegion and Aurora declined to participate, Virtus.pro and HEROIC will be shortlisted for this year's IEM Chengdu Station based on their global VRS rankings.
