League of Legends S15 World Championship schedule officially announced

On September 30th, the official League of Legends tournament announced the detailed schedule for the 2025 League of Legends World Championship (Season 15). The tournament will officially kick off on October 14th and will be divided into four stages: Play-Ins, Swiss Rounds, Knockout Rounds, and the Grand Finals.

The Play-In Stage will begin on October 14th . Officially, the fourth seeds from the LPL and LCK regions will face off in a Bo5 matchup. The winner will advance to the Swiss Round, while the loser will be eliminated from the Play-In Stage.

The Swiss Rounds will be held from October 15th to 19th and October 22nd to 25th. Top teams from all regions around the world will compete in the Swiss-based points system, ensuring direct competition between top teams and ultimately determining who will advance to the knockout stage.

The knockout stage will take place from October 28th to November 2nd , with the eight teams that advance to the finals competing in Bo5 matches. The final championship match will be decided on November 9th , at which time the new World Champion will be crowned.
