FaZe Clan urgently calls up legendary player Rain to replace them in the Counter-Strike 2 lineup

After an unexpected lineup shakeup, FaZe Clan announced that legendary player Rain will temporarily return to the active Counter-Strike 2 lineup to replace Jcobbb in the ongoing 22nd season of the ESL Professional League.
The incident stemmed from a miscommunication between FaZe Clan and ESL, with both parties realizing just hours before the first match that only two players on FaZe's current roster were still on the original invitational roster.
According to the invitation letter at the time, the five FaZe players invited by ESL were karrigan, rain, s1mple, EliGE and frozen. However, now, only karrigan and frozen are still in the team.
Because the tournament rules required the participating lineup to match the invited list, FaZe Clan was deemed ineligible to play in the first game against G2 and had to forfeit and seek an emergency solution. In this critical moment, FaZe Clan quickly contacted veteran player Rain.
This Norwegian player, who has made great contributions to FaZe since the CS:GO era, flew to Stockholm urgently and confirmed his return. He will replace jcobbb in this tournament.
Although FaZe must start from the lower bracket with a 0-1 record, the addition of Rain undoubtedly provides the team with much-needed stability and experience. Officials stated that Rain's return is only a temporary measure, and that jcobbb will rejoin the roster after the tournament, and normal team operations will resume.
With Rain's return, many fans are wondering if FaZe can capitalize on this momentum and make a strong showing in ESL Pro League Season 22, potentially prompting the team to reconsider its future roster plans. FaZe has yet to respond to this question.
