League of Legends: T1 officially part ways with its ace ADC player Gumayusi..

League of Legends World Champions and LCK powerhouse T1 announced on Monday via official X (Twitter) account that their ace ADC player, Gumayusi, has left the team.

According to T1's official statement, Gumayusi wants to pursue new opportunities, and the team can only respect his decision and wish him all the best for the future.

T1's official statement reads: "Gumayusi has ended his journey with T1 and is about to embark on a new challenge."

"The trophies we've won together and the glorious achievements he has made will forever be a source of pride for us and will forever be etched in the hearts of our fans."

"We sincerely thank him for his dedication, hard work, and outstanding performances over the years."

"As he embarks on a new chapter in his life, we will continue to support him and wish him all the best for the future." "

Furthermore, according to a report from Sheep Esports, Gumayusi is likely to be joining fellow LCK powerhouse, Hanhwa Life Sheep Esport (HLE).

The report states that since HLE is likely to part ways with their bot laner Viper, Gumayusi has naturally become the team's preferred candidate as his replacement.

However, it is still unknown whether Viper will join T1 in an opposite move.

If the report is true, this means that Gumayusi will return to HLE after a 7-year absence.

It's worth noting that this will be the second time that Gumayusi is leaving the T1 roster.

In March of this year, Gumayusi was also suddenly benched by T1 due to the coaching staff's strong preference for Smash. He only rejoined the starting roster after fan backlash and intervention from CEO Joe Marsh.
