Yakult Brothers adjusts Dota 2 roster and forms a second team

With the 2026 season approaching, roster changes continue to occur in the Chinese Dota 2 scene, and Yakult Brothers has also officially begun a new round of adjustments.

The club not only made personnel changes to the main lineup, but also announced the establishment of a brand new second team, Yakult.Tearlaments, demonstrating its ambition to cultivate the competition area in the long term and expand the depth of competition.

Regarding the main roster, Yakult Brothers announced the departure of their offlaner zeal, while mid laner Emo has been temporarily relegated to the bench. The club stated in an official announcement that Emo will use this time to adjust his physical condition, and his future plans remain to be seen.

To fill roster gaps, the Yakult Brothers have welcomed two experienced players. Malaysian veteran Moon has officially joined the team, bringing stable tournament experience and leadership to the roster.

Meanwhile, veteran offlaner Srf has returned to the scene, further strengthening the team's tactical execution during the laning phase and mid-to-late game. Existing core members flyfly, BoBoKa, and Tianming will remain with the team, forming the main roster for the new season.

In addition to the main roster adjustments, Yakult Brothers also announced the formation of a second team, Yakult.Tearlaments, to cultivate potential players and increase internal competition. The roster consists of lou, Echo, Niu, TK, and Zzq. Lou and Echo have previously competed under the Teallaments name and possess some synergy and practical experience.

Industry insiders generally believe that Yakult Brothers' "dual-track" strategy will not only provide the main team with more rotation and tactical options, but also create more opportunities for young players to reach a high level.
