Hugo Bueno: We just need to maintain our current momentum and confidence, because we know we have the ability to achieve our goals again and again.

While gratifying to help Wolves secure their first Premier League victory of the season, Hugo Bueno admitted that the win would be meaningless if the team couldn't continue their winning streak against Everton. The left-back delivered a standout performance, providing an assist, in the 3-0 win over West Ham United.

Wolves are determined to secure three points in their midweek match, which will also mark their first visit to Everton's new Hill Dickinson Stadium. Hugo Bueno said: "It feels fantastic. For the players, the coaching staff, the workers, the fans, and everyone at the club. I think this victory is well-deserved, but it's just the beginning."

“Winning the game is crucial; all your training and hard work throughout the week is for that moment. However, it’s inevitable to feel a little disappointed when the results aren’t what you’d like, and this has happened quite often this season. But we ultimately achieved the results we wanted. We just need to maintain our current momentum and confidence because we know we have the ability to do it again and again.”

“We’ve been in good form lately, beating Liverpool and Manchester United in succession, so we’re going into this game with even more confidence. The team atmosphere is very positive, and we’re a great team to begin with. Although some people think we’ve given up, that’s not the case.”

“It’s clear from our daily training that the team is working hard and encouraging each other, and the recent results have proven that. I’m happy for every player and hope the team continues to win in the upcoming matches.”

“We’ve been eager to get back to that feeling, and many of our goals were well-deserved. John Arias’ goal was exactly what he deserved, and I’m happy for him. He’s worked incredibly hard since he joined the team, as has Chaney.”

"Both of their goals were well-deserved, so it was a pleasant afternoon for the whole team. I've also put in a lot of effort this season to provide assists, including many crosses, but it can be frustrating at times. However, I'm happy for myself because all the hard work has finally paid off."

Speaking about his contribution to the team, Hugo Bueno said: "It was a fantastic game – a win, a clean sheet and an assist, almost a perfect weekend for a defender. But for me, I'm looking forward to being more ambitious; a perfect game should also include scoring. I'll take it one step at a time and hope the next goal comes soon. We're really looking forward to playing again at Everton, which is a new stadium, and I'm sure the experience will be amazing. I can't wait to go."
