Bournemouth's Adrian Truffaut says he still has room for improvement and is determined to grow with the team. The French full-back, who joined from Rennes last summer, has made every top-flight appearance for Bournemouth this season.
The left-back has quickly demonstrated his influence, playing the full 90 minutes in all but two Premier League matches this season. Adrian Truffaut has adapted to life at the South Coast Stadium and says he will give his all to continue improving his skills in English football.
When asked about his first six months at Bournemouth, Adrian Truffaut said: “I’m very happy here and I love the club. It’s a great club and a very pleasant environment. Everyone is friendly and I hope to continue to make progress here.”
“I still have a lot to improve, but I’m happy to be able to play. I want to keep playing, keep improving, and give my all in training every day. That’s very important to me. I’m aiming to play in every game and start, something I couldn’t guarantee before I joined . But I want to show my ability and prove that I can play every game . My goal this season is to play every single game.”
Adrian Truffaut is expected to represent Bournemouth in their upcoming Premier League home game against Tottenham Hotspur. In the first leg, Bournemouth defeated Tottenham, managed by Thomas Frank, 1-0. This was also the French international's first away win while playing for Burnley.
Recalling that match, Adrian Truffaut said: "That match was very special, I think it was quite tough. We won 1-0 away from home, and it was a very good stadium."
“I think this was one of our best games of the season in every aspect, both defensively and offensively. We need to carry this form into the next game. Training this week went very well, and we need to perform well at home. To win, we must dominate in every confrontation.”
