Liverpool announced on their official website on Wednesday that they have signed Burnley's English young defender Noah Adekoya.
According to Liverpool's official statement, Adekoya has signed on a three-and-a-half-year contract with the club which runs until the summer of 2029.
Adekoya will initially represent the U21 steam, with the option to play for the first team upon request.
About Noah Adekoya
The 19-year-old Adekoya was born on November 22, 2006, in Lancashire, England. He is 1.93 meters tall and plays as a centre-back. He holds dual English and Nigerian citizenship.
Adekoya joined Burnley's youth academy at a young age and will begin representing their U21s team in the summer of 2025.
In the first half of the season, Adekoya made seven appearances for the Premier League club's U21s team in all competitions, without scoring a goal or providing an assist.
