Serie A-Muani scored twice to help Juventus beat Como 2-1

In the 24th round of the 2024/25 Serie A season, Juventus defeated Como 2-1 away. After the victory, they achieved 10 wins, 13 draws and 1 loss, with 43 points, and temporarily rose to fourth place in the standings with one more game.

First Half

Como took the lead in launching an offensive after the opening, threatening Juventus' goal for a time. In the 11th minute, Strefezza cut in from the right and sent a cross, and Paz's volley was saved by Di Gregorio. In the 23rd minute, Paz passed the ball to the middle of the frontcourt, and Da Cunha's long shot was again blocked by Di Gregorio. However, Juventus broke the deadlock in the 34th minute: Nicolas Gonzalez sent a straight pass from the midfield, and Muani broke into the penalty area from the right and shot from a small angle to score.

Como was not to be outdone. In the 43rd minute, Strefeza sent a cross from the right, and Paz headed the ball in the penalty area but it went slightly over the bar. In the first half stoppage time, Cutrone stole the ball from Kopmeiners and made a cross from the left, and Dio headed in to equalize the score.

Second Half

In the second half, the two sides changed sides and continued the game. In the 46th minute, Gatti made a mistake in the backcourt pass and was intercepted by Dio, who assisted Paz to shoot but was blocked by Di Gregorio. In the 51st minute, Gerdaniga sent a long pass in his own penalty area, Strefeza got the ball on the right and broke into the penalty area and shot but was saved again. Da Cunha and Valle then shot from a distance, but were blocked by Juventus players. In the 57th minute, Strefeza sent a cross from the right, and Cutrone shot in the penalty area but missed the goal.

The two sides then fell into a stalemate until the 86th minute: Como goalkeeper Butez accidentally hit Gatti while saving the ball, and the referee decisively awarded a penalty kick. Muani then took the penalty kick and scored, and Juventus also took the lead 2-1. In the end, the Zebras won away with Muani's two goals.
