Jurgen Strand-Larsen: We should be proud of ourselves because we really played with our hearts

Jurgen Strand-Larsen had missed three games before the weekend with a hamstring injury, but Mateusz Cunha scored in all three games as the Reds beat Aston Villa.

The player put in another excellent performance against Bournemouth, scoring the winning goal. However, the return of Jurgen Strand-Larsen from the bench also gave Wolves hope, as the striker played very well and successfully helped the team to win. Although he failed to score, Jurgen Strand-Larsen expects the forward line to end the season strongly.

Jurgen Strand-Larsen said: "It's great to be back. I feel like I've been ready for a while now and I was almost back last week so it was great to get some minutes on Saturday. It was a tough game and I think we deserved to win and take the three points. We had one more player than the opponent but we can still be proud of ourselves and we did a really good job."

"For us, scoring goals is the most important thing, and we've been scoring them all season, but the feeling of not conceding a goal throughout the game is also very important. For the goalkeeper, the defenders and everyone in the back line, they like that feeling. We really play with our heart and I think it's a big change for us and we can continue to improve on the basis."

"As a player, I was a little bit annoyed that we didn't score the second goal because we could have scored more. But the most important thing is that we won the game and didn't concede in the last minute like we did at the beginning of the season."

Jurgen Strand-Larsen added: "In games, sometimes the opponents are better than you, but this is the Premier League. The teams in this league are all great and going to Bournemouth is a difficult thing, so we can continue to work hard on this aspect. In addition, we are also involved in the cup competition, so there is a lot to look forward to in the next few weeks."

"I always score goals in the games. I wasn't very lucky before the injury, but that happens. I'm a hard-working footballer and the most important thing for me is to be in front of the goal."

"I haven't been injured that often in my career. I always want to play after an injury, but I only had three or four weeks off and I felt bad. But when I saw the players who had knee injuries, I thought I would give my all and be ready when I get back. Now, I feel good and I'm ready to play for the team again."
