Stephen Curry set a new NBA record for three-pointers made in a game in San Francisco, helping the Golden State Warriors to a 139-105 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
The 36-year-old Curry made all 8 of his three-pointers for the first time in the game and ended up with 30 points and 10 assists.
The performance made the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player the first player in league history to make at least eight three-pointers and record double-digit assists in a single game.
The NBA three-point shooting record is 9, created by Latrell Sprewell in 2003, and then Ben Gordon tied the record in 2006 and 2012, and Jaylen Brown broke the record in 2013. Lenson also accomplished the feat in 2023.
Jonathan Kuminga contributed 20 points off the bench, while Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins and Dennis Schroder each had 15 points.
The victory improved the Warriors ' season record to 17-16, while the 76ers' record dropped to 13-19.
