Argentine Counter Strike 2 esports club BESTIA announced on Monday via its official X (Twitter) account that its rifler, Timo, has been benched, effective immediately.

According to BESTIA's official statement, everyone at club is very grateful for timo's past contributions to the team and wishes him all the best for the future.

With timo's departure, BESTIA is expected to sign nacho as his replacement.

According to Dust2, BESTIA has already begun approaching the player, who left ShindeN last week.

About timo

Timo, who is only 21 years old, was born on July 19, 2004, in Uruguay. He beaome a professional Counter Strike 2 esports player, playing as a rifler, in 2024.

Timo previously played for InFernales and VELOX, and will join BESTIA in March 2025.

During his nearly one-year tenure with BESTIA, timo helped the team climb to 37th place on the global VRS rankings, their highest ranking on that list since the end of 2024.

During this time, he led the team to qualify for the BLAST.tv Austin Major, but the team was replaced before the tournament due to visa issues.

Recently, the team also defeated powerhouses such as fnatic, Inner Circle, and ENCE to win the Digital Crusade DraculaN Season 4.
