Nottingham Forest's new manager, Pereira, said it was very important for players to identify with and believe in the company's philosophy.

Nottingham Forest will travel to face Fenerbahce in the first leg of the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League play-off. New manager Vitor Pereira stated that it is crucial for the players to believe in and embrace the team's philosophy.

After a record of 1 win, 3 draws and 1 loss in their last 5 matches, Nottingham Forest sits in 17th place in the standings with 27 points, just 3 points above the relegation zone.

Following the dismissal of Dyche, 57-year-old Vitor Pereira has recently been appointed as the new manager of Nottingham Forest.

Speaking about his feelings on becoming Nottingham Forest manager, Vitor Pereira said, “I am very proud to be a part of this family, it is an honor for me. Vitor Pereira continued, "If we go there just to get a draw, that's definitely not the best way to play against Fenerbahce away from home. I know the environment and the fans there. “When you have to play three games a week, everyone has to be ready and understand our requirements, even the substitutes. We can’t use the same starting lineup every game, because that would make it impossible to maintain the same intensity and energy.”
