Brandon Ingram was traded to the Toronto Raptors on Feb. 6, but the player has not played since early December.
The Toronto Raptors have agreed to a three-year, $120 million contract extension with forward Brandon Ingram, who they acquired in a trade with the New Orleans Pelicans for Kelly Olynyk, Bruce Brown and two future draft picks.
Brandon Ingram has performed well this season, averaging 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game. His performance is close to that of his two new teammates, Coty Barnes and RJ Barrett, which makes the Toronto Raptors one of the most comprehensive trios in the NBA.
Brandon Ingram has yet to play in a game for the Toronto Raptors this season as he is still dealing with a sprained left ankle. Brandon Ingram has been unable to play since Dec. 7, when he was still playing in the New Orleans Pelicans’ loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
According to data, Brandon Ingram's best season was in the 2019-20 season, when he was selected to the All-Stars and was named Kia's Most Improved Player. Brandon Ingram averaged 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game, with a total shooting percentage of 46.3% and a three-point shooting percentage of 39.1%.
The Toronto Raptors have lost four games in a row and are currently ranked 13th in the Eastern Conference. However, they are six games behind the 10th seed Chicago Bulls and will have four home games after the All-Star break.
