Feyenoord officially appoints U21s team head coach Pascal Bosschaart as its first-team's interim head coach..


Feyenoord announced on its official website on Tuesday that the club has appointed Pascal Bosschaart, the Dutch head coach of its U21s team, as the first-team's interim head coach.


According to Feyenoord's official statement, Bosschaart will coach the first-team as a interim head coach until the end of this season. Arnold Scholten, John de Wolf and Etienne Reijnen will become members of Bosschaart's assistant coaching team.


Feyenoord suddenly announced on Monday that its former Danish head coach Brian Priske was sacked due to inconsistent performances and loss of trust from the players.


About Pascal Bosschaart


Boschaart, 44, was born on February 28, 1980 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He is 1.83 meters tall. He primarily played as a center back during his playing career, and was also capable of playing as a left back or defensive midfielder. He played for Utrecht, Feyenoord, ADO Den Haag, Sydney FC and non-league  club IJsselmeervogels. He won the KNVB Cup once with Utrecht.


After retiring in the summer of 2016, Bosschaart served as an assistant coach for IJsselmeervogels, Cambuur and Dordrecht. In 2024, he returned to Feyenoord as the head coach of its U21s team.


This season, Bosschaart coached the U21s team of the Eredivisie giants in 19 games in across all competitions, achieving 11 wins, 3 draws and 5 losses, with a win percentage of 57.89%.
