Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembele scored twice in a 3-0 win over Brest in the Champions League on Tuesday, equalling a record shared by Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
In the first leg of the Champions League play-offs, Dembele scored twice, showing an excellent offensive state. The French winger is currently in the best scoring period of his career. He has scored for Paris in eight consecutive games, tying the record previously created by Neymar and Mbappe at the club. If he can continue to score in the next game, he will have this honor alone.
In the past few seasons, Dembele's goal data was not outstanding, but this season is completely different. In the 2024-25 season, he has scored 23 goals for Paris in all competitions, including 15 goals in 2025 alone, becoming the leader of the Ligue 1 scorer list, three goals more than the second Mason Greenwood, and is enjoying the most dominant goal performance in his career.
What's more worth mentioning is that Dembele is currently the only player in the top five leagues and European competitions to score 10+ goals in 2025. The former Barcelona player is proving with actual performance that he is not only a good creator of opportunities, but also a stable scoring point for Paris.
