Kevin Durant, who plays for the Phoenix Suns, reached the 30,000-point milestone in his career during the game, becoming the eighth player in NBA history to achieve this achievement.
Durant achieved this feat with a free throw late in the third quarter of the Phoenix Suns' 119-112 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Durant contributed 34 points, 3 assists and 3 rebounds in the game.
After the game, Durant was interviewed and mentioned the 30,000-point milestone. Durant said: "It is a great honor to be classified with those players who have promoted the development of the game."
