Is cooldown reduction the new mainstream for supports? Mages should avoid Convergence, and junglers should exclude Smite. (Part Two)

If you're a mage, you can choose to ignore Convergence Spell, which is used to provide cooldown reduction, support semi-tank build, burst damage stacking. For years, you've been used to using Flash to protect yourself, create space, or change the direction of your skills. Wearing this summoner spell will inevitably interfere with your gameplay. Even if you're a mage assassin with plenty of mobility, you'll definitely be too busy to keep up with the clicks.
Shooter's income is not high
Arriving at the most important marksman/support synergy is theoretically a good option. Replacing Purify and Flash, it offers higher carry-targeting capabilities. This single-target burst damage and chasing enemies is only suitable for low to mid-ranked players. As ranks rise, the negligible knockback becomes meaningless. Another attractive aspect is the cooldown reduction, which halves the time. This allows Hou Yi and Ao Yin to increase the frequency of their ultimate abilities. However, the scenario for their ultimates is always when they transform into dragons and become invincible, using the untargetable effect to quickly escape. After landing, the cooldown is halved, making the effect negligible. After using the ultimate, walking back to the fountain to recover health takes about the same amount of time. If you rely too much on the ultimate, it's better to bring a Doria to refresh skills.
Hou Yi reiterated that the "Convergence of Forces" strategy deprived him of his only means of survival. If his skill level was too high, he would surely die if ambushed. What use was the so-called "cooldown" then?
A perfect match for healing support
In contrast, the support role offers a completely different effect. It heals teammates and damages enemies, achieving two goals at once. The starting point for playing a support is to protect teammates, and healing-type characters would take Heal. In the past, we thought it was a perfect match. Now, with Convergence Summoner Spell, we can think about it from a different perspective. It can cause reasonable slowing and damage to enemies and reduce cooldowns. The synergy with this summoner spell is incredible. However, it's not just the support that uses Convergence Summoner Spell; Dorria is the real champion. Every time she refreshes a teammate's skills, her ultimate skill immediately goes into a long cooldown. Now, it halves that cooldown for you, allowing you to refresh your ultimate skill at lightning speed. It's even stronger than a marksman equipping it themselves.
Support heroes with high compatibility include Cai Wenji, Da Qiao, Zhang Fei, Yao, Dayu, Ming Shiyin, etc. All roaming heroes with stun and healing abilities should be replaced with Convergence of Forces this season. First, determine the skill effects. Replacing them with offensive heroes like Zhang Liang and Mozi will backfire.
