The long-awaited new season, Season 42, has finally launched. Ranks have been reset, the system has been optimized, and everything is starting from scratch. Moreover, the next month after the update is the Spring Festival version, giving us a month and a half to warm up. Time flies, and it will be over in the blink of an eye. In early February or late January, we expect to start leaking information and releasing the limited-edition CG animation trailer for the Year of the Horse.

Although there aren't many events currently available, the season pass, monthly gift pack, and fragment shop alone are enough to keep everyone busy. Play a few ranked matches and you can easily get many new skins, including Xiang Yu's Nine Nether Gate, a season-limited skin. It's always been a niche pick in high-level games, but I never expected to choose Xiang Yu this year. He has recently successfully transitioned to a new role, with his stats steadily improving. He's great for playing the side lane and support roles. This season-limited epic skin has arrived just in time, but not every player will get it immediately because the primary condition for unlocking it is collecting four King's Marks from seasons S38 to S41.

If you fail to obtain the reward, don't worry. There's an extra task waiting for you in the Time-Space Energy section. You must reach the King rank 10 in ranked matches this season, or reach 1350 points in the Peak Match, to obtain 1 layer of Time-Space Energy. Regarding the skin design, it blends Chinese armor with fantasy elements, surrounded by flames that condense on the blade during attacks, exuding a powerful aura.
