James Tarkowski: A draw is acceptable for the team given their overall subpar performance.

James Tarkowski said he never doubted Everton's ability to equalize against Brentford, adding that the team showed increasing resilience and composure under pressure after Kiernan Diussbury-Hall's stoppage-time goal.

In this fiercely contested match, Everton twice fell behind. Beto scored in the first half, offsetting Igor Thiago's early penalty, but in the 76th minute, Igor Thiago scored again, bringing Brentford close to victory. However, in the 91st minute, Kiernan Diussbury-Hall scored the crucial goal, helping Everton secure a hard-fought point in West London.

James Tarkowski said: "I think we deserved this point. It was a very tough away game. Our opponents were tied on points with us, so we couldn't let them pull ahead. From that perspective, this point was very important. Considering our overall performance wasn't great, this result is acceptable."

"The Premier League is very competitive, with many teams vying for these positions, so ultimately it depends on ourselves. As I mentioned before, we may need two or three 'key games' to achieve our goals, and hopefully it will start with next week's game against Liverpool."

"We are in a good position right now, having recently secured a crucial victory at home. The international break may not have been the best time, but now we can return home and build on that big win."

This result keeps Everton in eighth place in the standings, maintaining their hopes of qualifying for European competition. James Tarkowski also pointed out that the team's resilience in the final stages of matches is a major advantage this season, mentioning similar stoppage-time equalizers or winning goals against Brighton and Fulham.

James Tarkowski said: "I think we have that resilience in our team, and we've scored many goals late in the game this season. The last 10 minutes are when the game becomes more open, which creates opportunities for us, and I felt at that point that we would score."

"Terrick George, who came on as a substitute, caused a lot of trouble for the opposing full-backs, which helped us a lot. Eventually, the ball fell to Kiernan Duusbury-Hall, who was probably the player we most wanted to get the ball because he has been very consistent and reliable all season. He has had an outstanding season, scoring many key goals and performing extremely steadily overall. I was glad the ball ended up at his feet; I felt he could finish the job."
