Inter Milan coach Inzaghi hopes the defeat can motivate the players to work harder

Inter Milan lost 0-1 to Juventus. Coach Simone Inzaghi revealed that the players were disappointed, but he hoped to turn this defeat into motivation and inspire the players to work harder in the next game.

Juventus won with a goal from Chico Conceicao, but Inter Milan did not score in the game and missed the chance to get 3 points. In the press conference after the game, Inzaghi admitted: "This game is disappointing."

"We are sad but the players played bravely, showed determination and technical level. I have no reason to blame the players. We created a lot of chances but need to do better in taking chances, scoring goals and finishing the first half."

"We have to work harder because at the moment what we did wasn't enough. In the second half we knew Juventus would react, we weren't as fluid as in the first half and then we conceded a goal. Tonight's game was completely different to the one in Florence and we have to improve."

"This defeat is very painful, but it motivates us to work harder. We deserved more and we really valued this game. There are many games to come and we have to do better. The match against Napoli will be an important one."

"But before that, we have games against Genoa and Lazio, and then the important direct confrontation, we will try our best. Now, we have a week to work and prepare for the next games."
