Neymar and his son talk about contract extension: It is under consideration, everything is possible

Brazilian star Neymar's father and agent has hinted that his son is considering a new contract with Santos.

Neymar's contract with Santos was originally scheduled to expire in June this year. In this regard, Neymar Sr. said in an interview with Brazil's TNT Sports TV station: "(Santos Club President) Marcelo Teixeira gave me the opportunity to help Santos and let me introduce partners to Santos. At present, the club is facing a difficult time. In order to achieve reconstruction, we must reach the right level and make Neymar happy here."

Neymar, 32, was born in the youth training of Santos and made his professional debut in the Sao Paulo State League in Brazil on March 7, 2009. He helped Santos win the Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana and Copa Brazil, and then played for Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Al-Hilal.

At the end of last month, Neymar returned to Santos as a free agent after terminating his contract with Al-Hilal. He played for Santos again on February 6 and has played in four games in the Sao Paulo Championship in Brazil so far.
