Cagliari announced on its official website on Wednesday that the club has extended the contract of its Italy U21s international left-back Riyad Idrissi.
According to Cagliari's official statement, Idrisi has signed on a new long-term five-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030.
About Riyad Idrissi
Idrissi, who is only still 20 years-old, was born in Sadali, Italy on June 13, 2005. Hhe is 1.82 meters tall, primarily plays left-back, but can also play as a left midfielder. He holds dual Italian and Moroccan citizenship.
Idrissi joined Cagliari's youth academy at the age of 13 and was promoted to the first-team last July before being loaned-out to Modena.
Upon his return from his loan spell this summer, Idrissi officially became a member of the Cagliari first-team.
So far this season, Idrissi has made five appearances and provided one assist for the Serie A club in all competitions.
