Luka Doncic confident he's getting better with Los Angeles Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers forward Luka Doncic said his breakout game against the Denver Nuggets was just the beginning. The player went 1-2 in his first three games with the Lakers after leaving Dallas, averaging 14.7 points per game.  

Luka Doncic said: "This is my fourth game and the chemistry takes time. I believe you can see that it is getting better and improving every day." Luka Doncic scored 32 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, contributed 7 assists and 4 steals, leading the Los Angeles Lakers to a 123-100 victory over the Denver Nuggets.  

After the game, Luka Doncic said: "I finally feel like myself. Playing basketball is what I love most, that's why I was smiling throughout the game."  

The same was true for LeBron James, who contributed 25 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and three blocks, and caught many long passes from Luka Doncic. The performance of this duo in Denver should make the Los Angeles Lakers and their fans feel that they can go deep in the playoffs like they did the past two years.  

Luka Doncic had already scored 19 points in the first half, and he has been slowly adjusting to his new team since the big trade . Luka Doncic is working hard to get back into shape after being sidelined for several weeks with a calf injury. However, LeBron James said he saw a fully focused Luka Doncic, the same Luka Doncic he led the Dallas Mavericks to the NBA Finals last year.
