West Ham United snapped a four-match winless run and James Ward-Prowse is confident the team can end the season on a high

James Ward-Prowse, who currently plays for West Ham United, believes that the team can finish the 2024-25 season with an excellent record if they continue to work hard. James Ward-Prowse started in the Premier League for West Ham United for the first time.  

James Ward-Prowse, who recently returned from a short-term loan spell at Nottingham Forest and played the full 90 minutes, believes the performance in north London showed the team's potential and he is already looking forward to the game against Leicester City and hoping for a successful outcome.  

James Ward-Prowse said: "I think everything went really well today. It hasn't been the best of times recently. But at that moment you're waiting for a turning point or a result to motivate us, and I think we did that today."  

"We trained together for a while before the game and did some reflection. Fortunately, good results came at the crucial moment and it can be called a top performance."  

"When you come to the Emirates Stadium you need to know you are going to face a top team, fighting for the title. But we had a good game plan and we showed we are willing to give the hard work."  

“In conclusion, I think we fully deserved this win and hopefully we can take advantage of the situation we have now and end the season as strongly as possible.”  

James Ward-Prowse was not only happy with the team's three points, he was also happy to be back at West Ham United, where he made 51 appearances in all competitions last season after signing until the summer of 2023.  

In addition, James Ward-Prowse also said: "When Graham Potter was appointed as the team coach, I think everyone could see that he was very suitable for this position and felt very good. I talked to a few boys when Graham Potter first came, and they gave a lot of praise to the coach."
