Josh Acheampong admits he is enjoying the challenge of the Premier League and is grateful for the opportunity to break into the starting XI

Josh Acheampong, who currently plays for Chelsea, made his first Premier League start against Crystal Palace. In this game, Josh Acheampong performed very well, which indicates that the defender has a bright future in the Premier League.  

Josh Acheampong won the Man of the Match award as voted for by the fans and while the result was not the win he had hoped for, the player was proud of his performance and grateful for the opportunity to be in the starting XI.  

Josh Acheampong said: "It was a very enjoyable game and my first start in the Premier League. I worked hard for it and I think it was an enjoyable game, even though we didn't get the three points in the end."  

Despite the tense atmosphere, Josh Acheampong showed his confidence during the game. In addition, Josh Acheampong's statistics also reflected his influence on the game, as he completed more passes and had more time on the ball than any other player on the pitch.  

Josh Acheampong said: "This is one of the things I like to do when I play. I like to control the ball, especially when I am getting more involved in the game and more confident, controlling the ball helps me a lot."  

Making his debut for his country in last month's Eredivisie tie against FC Astana, Josh Acheampong admitted he is enjoying the challenge of the Premier League and is thankful to his defensive partner for helping him through the experience.
