Klopp plans to return to Anfield to watch Liverpool play, but only for the last time

Jurgen Klopp has revealed when he plans to return to Anfield to watch Liverpool play, despite fears he could bring "bad luck" to the team.

Klopp has confirmed that he will return to Anfield before the end of the season, his first return since leaving the job last summer. The legendary coach was in charge of the Reds for nine years, during which time he led the team to win the Premier League and Champions League titles, becoming one of the most successful coaches in the club's history.

However, Klopp admitted that he was worried that he would be seen as a "bad luck symbol" for Arne Sloter's team, so he said that he would only be willing to go to Anfield to watch the game when Liverpool officially locked up the Premier League title. As we all know, when Klopp led his team to win the Premier League title, due to the impact of the new crown epidemic, Anfield was empty and he was unable to celebrate with the fans.

While attending a charity event in South Korea, Klopp confirmed he plans to watch the final game of the season against Crystal Palace.

Klopp said: "Yes, my plan is to return to Liverpool, but not on the bus. I will celebrate with the fans - they are the ones standing on the sidelines cheering when we were on the championship parade bus. That's what I think, but we'll see. I think I will be in the last game... To be honest, I didn't want to go back before because I didn't want to bring bad luck to the team."
