Marco Asensio delighted as Aston Villa advance to Champions League quarter-finals

Marco Asensio is happy for Aston Villa as they beat Club Brugge 3-0 in the second leg of the Champions League last 16, 6-1 on aggregate, and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

In the match, Asensio came on as a substitute at halftime, when the score was still 0-0. However, Asensio scored a crucial goal in just 16 minutes, and then scored twice again to help Aston Villa secure the victory.

In the post-match interview, Asensio was happy for the team's advancement and thanked the fans for their support. Asensio said: "We are very happy with this victory. We have successfully advanced to the quarterfinals of the Champions League, which is exactly our goal."

"Every time we play at home, the atmosphere in the stadium is very warm. We have to thank the fans, their support for us is very important and we feel very happy. We still want more victories and now we can take a break and focus on the next goal."

Asensio was loaned to Aston Villa from Paris Saint-Germain in February this year and is now gradually adapting to the rhythm of the Premier League. In the Champions League quarter-finals, Aston Villa will face Paris Saint-Germain.
