Danish CS2 legendary rifle player dupreeh announced his retirement. He has won 5 Major championships.

Danish CS2 legendary player Peter Rotman Rasmus (ID: dupreeh) officially announced on Sunday that he will retire from the professional arena from now on.

“I’ve never been so nervous in my life,” he said at the closing ceremony of the 2025 Blast.tv Austin Major. “All good things must come to an end. It’s time to say goodbye.”

"When I first started playing Counter-Strike, I never thought we would end up impacting so many people. At the time, my only goal was to make a name for myself. Even winning one Major would have been a huge accomplishment for me."

"Now that I have five Major titles under my belt, I feel like the only right way to end my career is to announce it on the biggest stage possible, in front of all of you."

Dupreeh, 32, has been a professional player since 2012 and is one of the most dominant riflers in CS2 history. He has played for many CS teams including 3DMAX, CPHW, DIG, TSM, AST, VIT, Heroic, Preasy, Falcons, etc. He has played in 2,303 maps, 59,292 rounds, and received 42,850 kills in his career with an average rating of 1.07.

Dupreeh also set a record of 32 tournament titles, including 5 Major titles (2017, 2018, 2019, 2019, 2023) and the Intel Grand Slam Season 1 title.
