Germany's new squad: Bisek is selected for the first time, Goretzka, Adeyemi, Amiri and others return

On March 13, local time, the German national team announced the latest training list. The 24-year-old Inter Milan defender Jan Bisek was selected for the first time, and eight internationals including Bayern midfielder Leon Goretzka, Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi and Mainz midfielder Nadim Amiri returned after a long absence.

Many players were also eliminated from the list due to injuries, including Florian Wirtz, Kai Havertz, Niklas Felkerug, Alexander Pavlovic, Felix Enmesha and Benjamin Henrichs. Talking about the decision to call up Goretzka, Nagelsmann explained: "The most crucial criterion is the competitive performance: is he worthy of selection? He has experienced a trough at Bayern and the national team, but has now successfully come out of the predicament. He is playing a key role.
