Nikola Jokic to miss game against Boston Celtics due to illness

Nikola Jokic, who currently plays for the Denver Nuggets, missed the team's game against the Boston Celtics due to illness. The Denver Nuggets lost to the Boston Celtics with a score of 106 to 118.  

Nikola Jokic went from possible to uncertain to out in one day. Before the game, Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone said: "Nikola Jokic didn't feel good since yesterday, and it got worse today, which is really unfortunate."  

Nikola Jokic won the Western Conference Player of the Week award with an average of 36.5 points, 16.5 rebounds and 11.3 assists per game. This is the 16th time that Nikola Jokic has won this honor in his career, which is also the most times in the history of the team.  

Head coach Michael Malone said it would be difficult to find another player to replace Nikola Jokic because the team has no other player who can match the performance of Nikola Jokic on the court.  

Before the game, Michael Malone said: "We need to play our way. We know that our opponents are very good on offense and defense. Therefore, whoever can play must play and find a solution instead of making excuses for themselves."  

Nikola Jokic's absence leaves the Denver Nuggets even more shorthanded, as forward Aaron Gordon is already sidelined with a right calf strain.
