England manager Thomas Tuchel pleased with his players' performance

England beat Latvia 3-0 in a World Cup qualifier and coach Thomas Tuchel was pleased with the result and the performance of his players.

In the last World Cup qualifier, England defeated Albania 2-0 and won successfully. These two games were Tuchel's first two games as England coach. With such results, Tuchel was very happy and gave high praise to the players.

In the post-match interview, Tuchel said: "The team's organization is excellent. The players are the decisive factor. They immediately reminded me why I am excited to coach this team. You need this type of game and tension in the game, because not everything will go smoothly in the first minute."

Harry Kane, Reece James and Ebereki Eze scored respectively to help England win. James' free kick in the first half was his first goal for England since September 2022.

Regarding James' performance, Tuchel said: "I know Reece, this lad has amazing talent. He has every reason to be proud and happy about his performance. He is in excellent form, looks agile, in good physical condition, and his ability is unquestionable."

Tuchel started Marcus Rashford in this game and his performance was recognized by Tuchel. Tuchel said frankly: "Marcus once again showed his desire and fighting spirit, constantly trying to attack. Most importantly, he showed confidence and believed in his abilities."
