Bukayo Saka has returned to training

According to the BBC, Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, who had been absent for a long time due to hamstring surgery, has returned to training and the club has set a preliminary timetable for his return. The 23-year-old England international has been recovering from injury since he was injured in the first half of Arsenal's 5-1 win over Crystal Palace in December last year.

Arsenal are currently evaluating the possibility of including Saka in the squad for next week's Premier League match against Fulham. However, the club remains cautious about his return and will make a final decision closer to the match day.

If Saka can return to action as planned, he is expected to be in time for the Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid in April, which is undoubtedly a big plus for the Gunners. According to the schedule, Real Madrid will play the first leg at the Emirates Stadium on April 8, and return to the Bernabeu a week later for the second leg.

Before his injury, Saka was in hot form this season, contributing 5 goals and 10 assists in just 16 league games; in the Champions League, he also performed well, scoring 4 goals and 2 assists, and was an important contributor to the team's advancement to the quarterfinals.

As Saka gradually recovers, Arsenal is also actively planning his future. Although Saka just signed a new contract in 2022 with an annual salary of about 10 million pounds and valid until 2027, the club hopes to further extend the cooperation period to consolidate the position of this youth training core in the team.
