Unai Emery delighted with progress to FA Cup semi-final

Aston Villa successfully defeated Preston 3-0 in the FA Cup and advanced to the FA Cup semi-finals. Manager Unai Emery expressed his joy after the game.  

Unai Emery is delighted to be making progress in this historic and important tournament and is looking forward to seeing the fans enjoying this important moment during the match. "I am very happy because I think we are aware of our responsibility in this competition. The support of the fans is the driving force of our success, so we try to share some special moments with them and how important it is for them," said Unai Emery.  

"I think it's the most important cup in the world and a historic, prestigious cup in England. I think it's fantastic to be able to get to the semi-final and go to Wembley, for the players, for the staff and for the fans."  

"But we have our challenges. Our challenge is to enjoy the way we play and accept the challenge and perform as well as we did in this tournament."  

Unai Emery also praised the performance of Marcus Rashford, whose two goals kept Aston Villa ahead throughout the game. He said: "It was really great, personally he felt better, more comfortable and more confident. I think the goals boosted his confidence and helped the team at the same time."  

"I think we have a big challenge ahead of us and we need to stick together and do our best to get back to our best performance and give our best in the game."
