Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed Bukayo Saka is now fit and available to play against Fulham.
Saka has returned to the pitch after a lengthy rehabilitation period following a three-month absence following a torn hamstring in a match against Crystal Palace in December.
In the pre-match press conference, Arteta mentioned Saka's situation and said: "Bukayo is ready, his rehabilitation process is complete, now it's just a matter of getting him back on the pitch at the right time."
"He was very eager to play. We respected the recovery timeline, but he was ready for everything, even when we had to force him to rest. So he is fully fit and ready to play."
"He brings not only skills but also energy to the team. He missed what he loved most, playing, training and competing at the highest level with the team. Now, he can return at the most critical moment of the season, which is a huge boost for him and the team."
The 23-year-old Saka has made 16 appearances in this season's competition and contributed 5 goals. Although Saka has missed 19 games, Arteta still believes that Saka can quickly get back to the game and start against Fulham.
Arsenal currently ranks second in the Premier League with 58 points, 12 points behind Liverpool, which is in first place. There are still nine games left in the Premier League, and Arsenal's chances of winning the championship may be relatively small, but at least they can maintain their form and qualify for the Champions League next season.
