Eddie Nketiah came on as a substitute in Crystal Palace's match against Fulham and successfully helped the team beat Fulham 3-0. Shortly after coming on, Eddie Nketiah received a pass from Daichi Kamada, sent the ball under Bernd Leno's legs, and then turned around to celebrate.
It was Eddie Nketiah's third goal in his last four games and he will be hoping to taste victory again as Crystal Palace head into the semi-final against Aston Villa.
Eddie Nketiah said: "It feels really good and I think the fans deserved it because they really brought the atmosphere to us. I think it's great to have so many players come to Wembley and have the chance to win the championship."
"I've been to Wembley and I know what it feels like to win there and it's great to share that joy with my teammates, the fans and the staff. Football is a close-knit team, everyone works hard for each other, everyone trusts each other and it's a great privilege to share the victory together."
“We were 2-0 up and it was a great performance but we needed a third goal to seal the win. Kamada’s pass was beautiful and the goal was great, it was a great moment. It was really lively and the atmosphere was great, and it was great to share this feeling with the fans.”
As for the rest of the season, Eddie Nketiah said they will continue to strive for good results in the Premier League and cup competitions.
Eddie Nketiah said: "I think these things are arranged by God. We work really hard and we have a lot of good players. At the beginning of the season we have new players joining the team and a new style, so we also need to adapt."
"I think we didn't get the results we wanted in some games, but we did play well at the start of the season. I was injured at the beginning, but now I'm back and feeling good, I'm looking forward to playing."
"I know I can score goals for the team and I hope to maintain the stability of my playing time and continue to contribute to the team. I will continue to devote myself to the team and help the team achieve better results."
