Nikola Jokic, the center currently playing for the Denver Nuggets, scored 61 points, the highest scorer of the season and the highest triple-double in NBA history. The player proved why he is the frontrunner for the Kia MVP award this season as he managed to score a career-high 61 points.
Nikola Jokic also grabbed 10 rebounds and 10 assists, scored 61 points, and set a record for the highest triple-double in NBA history. The player has already made history in the 2024-25 season and is expected to become the first player in NBA history to rank in the top three in points, assists, rebounds and steals.
Prior to that, Nikola Jokic's career high was 56 points in a loss at Washington on Dec. 7. The franchise record was held by David Thompson, who scored 73 points against the Detroit Pistons on April 9, 1978.
Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone said: "Nikola Jokic is a superman. He is a player in another level. Although everyone says he lacks athletic talent, there are not many people who can do what he does."
