Riot Games launches League of Legends 2025 Spirit Blossom Festival

Riot Games has unveiled the much-anticipated League of Legends Spirit Blossom 2025 with the release of an all-new original song, “Here, Tomorrow,” and a stunning animated music video, setting the tone for this season’s event, “Spirit Blossom: The Border of the Dead.”

The song was created by popular Japanese singer-songwriter Rira Ikuta and well-known composer Kevin Penkin, and the MV was produced by internationally renowned animation studio THE LINE, presenting an audio-visual feast with great emotional tension. With the release of this animated short film, the second season of Soul Lotus has officially started.

In terms of story, this event will revolve around the popular hero Xin Zhao. Originally an Ionian, he was rescued by Jarvan and pledged his loyalty to Demacia. Now he will play a key role in the main storyline of "Soul Blossom". Players can officially step into this mysterious and life-or-death spiritual world at 11AM PDT on April 30. The first of two animated comics will be launched on May 14, further telling the story of Xin Zhao's spiritual journey.

The highlights of this event include:

  • New limited skin series

  • Advanced Battle Pass System

  • Story-driven interactive props and background setting experience

Two heroes will receive the legendary Soul Blossom skin in this event:

  • Spirit Blossom Ashe (Legendary)

  • Irelia (Legendary)

These skins are not only equipped with unique voice, skill effects, exclusive animations and transformation mechanisms, but will also be deeply integrated into the character background and Soul Lotus worldview.

Riot has obviously injected more cross-cultural and cross-camp narrative tension into this year's "Soul Blossom", which is bound to bring a more immersive and emotional festival experience. As Zhao Xin's main storyline gradually unfolds, the world of Soul Blossom will be more vast and full of vitality than ever before.
